Making websites faster, from the server to the browser.
About Vadim Perevoz
I’m a software engineer who has spent most of my career making websites faster. Over the years I’ve worked on performance from almost every angle: profiling slow backend code, tuning database queries and caching, cutting down heavy pages, taming third-party scripts and getting Core Web Vitals out of the red. Along the way I’ve helped speed up quite a few sites, from small company pages to platforms with millions of visitors.
What I’ve learned is that performance rarely comes down to one big fix. It’s usually a lot of small things: a missing compression setting, an oversized image, a script nobody remembers adding, a cache that quietly stopped working after a migration. And it’s never really finished. Products grow, requirements change, new features and integrations get shipped, and each of those changes can slowly eat away at speed. Keeping a site fast is an ongoing process, not a one-time project.
haprycon is my attempt to make that process easier. The tools here are the checks I find myself running on almost every project.
